The team of Université CNRS-neurophotonique (France) is experts in the field of high spatial resolution thermal imaging. The team contributed to the development and maturation of the thermoreflectance technique, which has now been adopted by several teams in the world. Recently, the thermoreflectance setup has proved its capacity to deliver thermal images of HEMT transitors and QCL (or classical) lasers with 500 nm spatial resolution.

Within the present project, they will have access to a wide range of multiscale thermal characterization techniques for thermal diffusivity measurements (photorefletance), temperature imaging with spatial resolutions of a few tens of microns (IR imaging) or sub-micrometer (CCD thermoreflectance), as well as Finite Element Modeling (Comsol).
